Affiliation Opportunity

We are always looking to sign up new affiliated Church Members who want to take full advantage of what our 143 years expereince in teaching kids about the Kigdom of the Living God has to offer them. We have a great curriculum, and will soon have a new and improved examination and qualification system designed to make things that much easier for our Sunday School Teachers and Youth Pastors. When you join us you will also get special member access to all of our Christian resources offering members good prices and rates backed by good quality support programmes designed to make the learning process more fun and memorable for your kids throughout each year.  

Teacher Training and Seminars

Our teacher training programmes and seminars have been designed to help our Church youth teachers prepare their lessons and manage students examinations throughout the year.

Music Festival

This is an annual event which offers the opportunity for Church youth groups to join in a time of Music, Drama and Speeches.

Categories range from Solos, Duets to Bible Readings and Bible Messages. Children and Adults are encouraged to share their love for God through Music, Drama and Speech.

Our Annual Music Festival is designed to give our affiliated church partners the opportunity to showcase their talent in a number of areas like:

• Scripture reading
• Scripture messages
• Classic choir singing
• Contemporary singing
• Dance
• Short act performances

Fun & Sports Day

Our Annual Fun & Sports Day is held at the Peter Snell Youth Village located in Whangaparoa which is just 40 minutes north of Auckland. It is a great family day out designed to bring all of our church partners families together for a day of fun and challenge.

The venue has a huge water slide, an initiative course Burma trail, Abseiling, Frisbee golf, and lots more. Other events held on the day are touch footie, sack races, and a treasure hunt. The event is held in January each year starting at 10am and ending at 3pm with a special prize giving event including guest speakers. Food and drink stalls are operated throughout the day and FREE ministry gift bags are handed out making it a great fun filled outreach opportunity for members to invite any of their familiy members or friends interested in finding out more about Christianity.

Handcrafts

Our handcrafts competition is held annually and offers kids the opportunity to win awards and prizes for their special creations.  Each year we provide all of our affiliated church members with a theme chosen from the Holy Bible for all the participating kids to base their creations on. This is a great way for kids to express what they have learned, their own perspectives in the relationship they are developing with the Lord.

Other Calendar Events

In 2009 we aim to operate at least one event every 12 weeks at our own premises in Queen street. These events will cater for the various age groups of kids so that none feel left out by us. For the young ones aged 5-11 years age group we will perform a stage play for the kids to enjoy and provide gift bags for them to take home. For the 12 year old age group and up we will have throughout the year a mini concert and guest speakers talking on subjects that appeal to them.
