Welcome to the NZ Sunday School Union

Since 1865 we have endevoured to promote a spirit of unity amongst our affilated church members providing them with high quality scripture lessons, examinations and educational resources suitable for children from as young as five years of age through to adulthood. The union has undergone many changes in it's 144 year history , however it has remained steadfast in maintaining it's scholastic approach to the Christian education and bible study for youth. We firmly believe this approach will continue to have a strong place within Chrisitan youth education and ministry.

We are continuously introducing new resources to our programmes and focusing on designing scripture lessons that are relative to the needs of our youth in today's world ensuring they have the opportunity to receive the Bible's perspective on any challenges they are or may well come to face in life.

We aim to maintain a busy and exciting events calendar throughout each year with events such as our Sports Extravaganza, Praise Festl, and Prize Giving Rally. All of these events have been established so we can grow and share the love and friendship between us and all of our affiliated church members as well as offer a good outreach opportunity for our communities at large, who want to learn more about God's Kingdom.

In 2011 we will add to our events calendar activities like Art Shows, mini concerts, and guest speakers which we will hold at our Queen Street premises. So watch this space and make sure you subscribe to our E-Newsletter so you are kept informed on what's going on.
